Football Player Welsh Athlete Ramsey Boosts Reward for Missing Canine in Mexican Territory to $$20k
Wales football star Aaron Ramsey has raised the incentive for information about his lost canine Halo to £15,000.
Ex- Arsenal and Cardiff player, who now represents the Mexican club Pumas in Mexico City, revealed that Halo was observed in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato state zone.
The beagle, who disappeared on 9 October, was equipped with a tracking device, and Ramsey published a Google maps location of her last known location.
"Any news concerning our Halo please contact us. Significant incentive for locating her. We are all hoping she is safe and will return with us quickly," the athlete shared on social media.
Earlier Reward and Heartfelt Appeals
The footballer initially revealed that Halo had disappeared 14 days prior and has since posted multiple photos of the cherished pet on his social media account.
A $10,000 reward was originally provided, but with absence of information on the dog's status after a seven days, Ramsey and his family raised the amount.
"Our only wish is our pet back," he expressed in a further appeal on social media after the decade-old dog disappeared.
The latest picture upload is a black and white image of the beagle snoozing, her head lying in the curve of the athlete's arm, with the description: "How I wish to cuddle you again Halo."
Household's Concerns and Context
The footballer has additionally posted a note from his spouse Colleen on online channels indicating they have some "pressing questions" regarding the disappearance and are concerned the household "could possibly not obtain answers".
"We have yet to haven't found Halo. I don't think we will," his wife's update stated.
The Welsh leader signed with Mexico's top-flight club Club Universidad Nacional earlier this year and made his inaugural match in the Mexican league in August.
